The carbon footprint of LERO Sourcing Ltd.
LERO Sourcing Ltd. recognizes that our environmental impact is an important component of our responsibilities. To solve this, we divide emissions into three categories as defined by the GHG Protocol.
- Scope 1 emissions include all direct emissions resulting from our company's activities and those activities over which we have control. Emissions from on-site fuel combustion are included. We monitor and reduce these pollutants on a proactive basis, ensuring that our activities are as ecologically responsible as feasible.
- Indirect emissions from the purchase and use of power and heat are included in Scope 2 emissions. While we may not have direct control over the creation of this energy, we recognize our indirect contribution to emissions and are committed to using energy sources that are compatible with our sustainability goals.
- Scope 3 emissions are not under our direct or indirect control. These emissions include all other indirect emissions from our organization's activities that come from sources we do not own or control. They extend up the value chain, including emissions from our businesses but originating elsewhere.

In keeping with this aim, we are pleased to submit our Climate Action Plan. Our Climate Action Plan is a live document that adapts to the ever-changing market landscape and developing opportunities for carbon reduction. We recognize that the battle against climate change is dynamic and requires flexibility in order to be effective. We value your suggestions and insights. Your feedback is extremely helpful to us as we continue to revise and improve our Climate Action Plan. We can have a greater impact and effect positive change in our efforts to address climate change if we work together.
